My mother had complicated case of stones present in gall bladder, bile duct, confluence and other near by areas. I took consultation from Dr. Sadiq Shikora and he explained me what would be course of treatment. After meeting him I felt that I have right guidance and followed whatever he suggested me. My mother has recovered well post surgery. The best part that he handled this complicated case just with laparoscopy without doing any open surgery. I would suggest to consult him for any gastro related issues. Even Sakra hospital I found very good. Staff behavior and facilities were up to the mark even in this tough situation of Covid 19.
My Mom had a tumor in the Periampullary area. After a lot of recommendations from many Doctors (including Gastroenterologists in Medanta and in Tata Memorial), we finalized on Dr. Sadiq for Whipple's surgery.
Reading about the complexity of Whipple's on the net, was a horror story. We were just so worried about how the surgery will go through.
Dr. Sadiq performed operation for 8 hours, and frankly, my Mom, after the operation, was as good as anyone who has endured a complex 8 hour surgery, can possibly be.
Reading about the side effects of Whipple, were also driving us nuts (Pancreatic fistula, severe cramps, serious nausea etc.). It's been almost 3 weeks now since the surgery; thankfully my Mom till now has not had these symptoms.
In short, thanks Dr. Sadiq. Really!

My father had a surgery by him last Saturday and since only one attendent can be with the doctor, it's my mother whom he has interacted with. **** ******** ***** **** **** ************* *** ** ***** ** ******* **** ******** *** ***** ** *** ******** ** *** ******* I went to meet the doctors to clarify some queries regarding the complications and next steps.
As soon as I entered the room, the doctor started shouting at me without even listening to what I was going to tell. If he didn't want to meet me, his staff could have informed me the same or they should have had given him the context before I entered the room.

Doctor lacks empathy. While there are so many patients waiting he is busy chatting with his other colleagues. Had been waiting for him for past 2 hour 30min and he doesn't seem to be in a hurry finishing his chit chat.
The nursing staff is too scared to ping him and check with him.
My last hope is that so much wait and effort is really worth his medical recommendation.
I really want to thank a tons to Dr Sadiq sikora for doing my gallbladder surgery , inspite of his festival Eid ,he came and operated me . It definitely shows his professionalism and commitment .
I would 100 percent recommend Dr Sadiq for his skills and expertise.
Does not have patience to listen to the patient, Very unfriendly and rude. I consulted Dr. Sadiq to take his opinion on my second pancreatic surgery, but the doctor refused to provide his opinion since I was operated by a different doctor first time. Lacks empathy *** ****************

Dr Sadik Sikora is a top expert in his own right. ** ** **** ************* *** ************ As most of them have already pointed out one drawback would be that he is not patient enough to answer all the doubts. He gets most irritated that people read all types of things in internet and keep asking him all types of irrelevant things
Overall I would highly recommend him

My mother underwent surgery under Dr.Sikora. While I have no comments on the doctor's medical expertise, I feel he lacks empathy with patients and their close relatives. He tends to snap at people when clarifying questions are asked. For a doctor of his seniority, we were disappointed with his unfriendly attitude.

If you are lucky, you may get a chance to meet him even if you take his appointment. Most of the times you will meet his assistant doctors only. Dr suggested me a surgery and it was supposed to be done under him. I am not even sure whether he had done my surgery. In operation theatre it was someone’s else name mentioned as a surgeon. When I asked the duty doctors, they said you should focus on these things. The doc didn’t meet me after the surgery as well. I had visited the hospital twice and again he was never available and I just met his assistant doctors.
My experience with him has been really bad and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Just because the patient didn't go the doctor seemed less interested even in having a conversation. He simply told go the doctor who will do surgery, only if I was doing surgery then he could explain it seems. We paid Rs 1000 for a consultation and he doesn't want to talk if we don't proceed with him. Lot of times patient needs 2nd opinion and being empathetic is always expected
